Seva Bharat, since its inception in 1999, has been rendering humanitarian services across the nation. It has recognized the right of every Indian to lead a life with dignity and self-respect in a just and equitable society by initiating transformational development programs among the poor, disadvantaged and the needy.
From the very outset of the Organization, Seva Bharat has continued to direct its efforts on a sustainable basis to tackle the Community Development problems in the society. The mainstays of the organization are Institute of Community Transformation (ICT), Adult Literacy (AL) and Children Development Programs (CDP) — each rendering services for the poor, deprived, disadvantaged men, women, children and marginalized groups, enabling them to lead a life of dignity.

Institute of Community Transformation
The ICT is a one year onsite training program that equips and empowers the grass root level community workers to establish vibrant communities and imparting biblical principles of Grace and Joy of Giving, how to lead a righteous life, bearing the fruit of the Spirit that is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.
Adult Literacy
Adult Literacy provides literacy instruction to non literates using trained adult literacy teachers. The adult learners are taught to read and write and do simple arithmetic and become functionally literate. There is a significant transformation in the lives of the learners as a result of this program.
Children Development Program
As the future of the country rests in the hands of children, CDP is committed to build the lives of these children with strong foundation through the ten-day classes scheduled during the summer holidays. These classes are conducted in the rural, urban slum and remote areas across the nation to cater to the needs of children in the age groups of 4 to 18.
